A Case for Using Modern Greek Pronunciation for Biblical Greek

It has been debated for some time now whether or not seminaries should utilize Modern Greek pronunciation or Erasmian pronunciation for their New Testament Greek courses.  Erasmian pronunciation is the most popular within western schools.  However, would it be more beneficial for the students if the schools utilized Modern Greek pronunciation instead?  I think so.  In fact, I have recently switched from utilizing Erasmian pronunciation to Modern pronunciation.  The following article epitomizes some of my reasons for doing so: The Case for Modern Pronunciation of Biblical Languages.
